Getting to Osaka

This is a short article for all students that will visit this great city. A city Osaka.

Osaka is located in Japan so it’s a good central point to start your tour, from here you can get to just the Japanese . Almost all travel options is of good quality so it’s mostly a question of how much money to spend on that trip a few hours or less. Cheapest is the express buses, but they also take the longest time.

By air
Kansai International Airport . International Airport to several cities in the region. Including Kyoto , Kobe and Osaka.
Itami Airport . Smaller airport served mainly by domestic flights.

By bus
Express buses run several times a day to Tokyo and other major cities. Travel by bus to Tokyo takes about eight hours. There are also night buses that travel long distances.

By train
From Tokyo , the Tokaido Shinkansen takes you to Osaka for a little more than two hours. Also long behind (and cheaper) train there, expect around four hours that case.
From the west, Sanyo Shinkansen starts in Fukuoka via Hiroshima and ends in Osaka.
If you want to get north is the night train to Sendai and on up to Hokkaido.

By car
East towards Tokyo and Nagoya going to Meishin- and Tomei Expressway .
Would you rather westward, against the Hiroshima or Fukuoka select Sanyo and Chugoku Expressway .

By Boat
Osaka International Ferry Terminal . From here the boats to Busan in South Korea and Shanghai in China is two to three times a week.
